“I’ll love you forever,
I’ll like you for always,
As long as I’m living,
my baby you’ll be.”
- Robert Munsch
Luke has not let his little girl out of his sight. Having a C-section has left me bedridden for a few weeks, but Hubban has completely fulfilled his new role as ‘daddy’ and tends to Natalie’s every cry, whimper, hiccup, sneeze and laugh. After 5 days in the hospital we finally returned home to read Natalie her first book, ‘Love You Forever,’ by Robert Munsch. I had already read the book before, but I let Luke take the lead. He read it with rhythm and flow, like every other nursery rhyme he had read when he was younger… until he reached the last page. He turned the page and had to shut the book. Tears slowly streamed down his face, like reality was setting in.
‘ Then he went into the room where his very new baby daughter was sleeping.’ …. ‘I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, As long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.’
It was a sincere moment. It was the most emotion I had seen him show since our wedding. Our dreams had come true. We were now the parents of our own beautiful baby girl. If I’m not blogging, or facebooking on my business page; it’s because I’m spending every second giving kisses, smiling, and loving on miss Natalie.

One of the sweetest moments for you from one of the sweetest husbands!! I can’t be more happy for you guys. Love every minute. xoxo
That book ALWAYS makes me cry, which is why I won’t read it to my kids anymore, ha! This is a sweet sweet photo!
That is my FAVORITE book! I read it when I was in Kindergarten and bought my own copy in college. I cannot wait (well I can wait..) to read that book to my future kids. Congrats Tina and Luke!! Natalie is very lucky to have such loving parents.
