22 wks | Now that I have my husband home, I don’t have an excuse not get some maternity photos as the baby bump grows. He’s been telling me he wants to get more involved in the shoots, so he can learn and allow me to be in the photos when Natalie Faith arrives. I was very impressed with how quickly he learned. Usually Luke stands in as a model so I can get the settings and then we switch places. However, last night he caught on pretty fast and did some work on his own
I often tell clients ‘skin on skin’ are some of my favorite shots because there’s an intimacy line being crossed; and it’s almost as if I’m getting a glimpse of a moment that would only happen behind closed doors. I didn’t want to be a hypocrite and not shoot what I love, so even ‘I’ became a little vulnerable last night.
(I know Hubban would love to hear some feedback on his first shoot going solo) XO
