I want to thank “It’s a Preemie Thing” for putting on a wonderful giveaway. She puts on this giveaway every year for photographers to donate a session, or a gift certificate to spread some cheer to preemie families across the nation.TO ENTER: First and foremost…YOU MUST BE A FAMILY WITH A PREEMIE…they don’t necessarily have to be ‘newborn’, but they must have been a preemie.
So I had the special pleasure of meeting Zach (who’s turning 3, June 1st) and family for a morning walk on the beach. Zach, born only 1lb, 11oz at just 25 weeks, creates such an inspiring story for preemies. He was full of spirit, and had such a personality to him. He had every toy car of his labeled by make and model, and could recite them on que. His infectious knowledge and excitement made this session most enjoyable. The important advice mom, Dawná, could give was to “find support groups in your area. It could be a lonely road, but there is plenty of people out there that want to help.” Enjoy their sneak peek
