The new baby and the recent move to Baton Rouge has given me extra time to reflect & start some personal projects. The first one, is to get back to the basics and shoot with film. It’s about waiting and fully composing the image, rather than rattle off some shots. It’s a drastic style change but still holds the soft pink hues that I love. With a quick moving child, who’s a better to practice on than your own? Father and daughter had a lot of fun posing before the sun went down.

From Baton Rouge, Louisiana all the way to Virginia; I always enjoy a beautiful, children’s photo session! I had been admiring this beautiful green wheat field everyday I drove by it, on my Easter vacation. I told my husband several times how luscious the photos would be with such a simple background. Tyler & Layla proved just that; with their loving nature and growing personalities, they define what sibling love is.

In April, I will be flying to Philadelphia to meet and work with some amazing maternity and newborn photographers. Photographers including Briony Hope Photography, Amanda Marie Photography, Blair Blanks Photography, Hope Brown Photography, Jennifer Snook Photography, Jessica Higgins Photography, Jennifer Wilcox Photography, Kaleigh Karin Photography & Design, Simply Baby Photography, Mandy Kay Photography, Finished Vision Photography, Melissa Berg Photography, Melissa Layton Photography, Meshelle Photography and Naomi Weber Photography!
We are looking for expecting mothers & newborns to be models for the workshop. Ages 4-12 days for newborns as of April 19 – 20.
You will be receiving complimentary digital images from photographers all over the US, & the experience of this session will be as priceless as the captures.
We are also looking for vendors that would like to participate as well.
