You remind me of your big brother. Your big brother came to see me when he was your age. I remember those eyes, but you’re a bit more reserve. Those lips are so kissable, and your curiosity starts with them.
Because there is nothing more exciting to a newborn photographer than that little text to announce baby’s arrival.
The anticipation of the weeks before hand is just as authentic as a best friend, and sometimes I feel as close as family. I find myself wondering how the pregnancy is going, and if the signs of labor have started. I wonder if you’ve gotten any sleep because the road ahead of you is miraculous. But it’s that sound, the message to reveal s/he has made it, that s/he is safe in mother’s arms. Because I know that feeling. I know you will sit up all night and stare at this tiny being. You will inspect every feature… and decide who s/he looks like. You will admire & hold him/her on your chest wishing time could just sit still. Although I wish I could ask you all the intimate details of the birth, you can leave some information to be desired for our session.
And so my story with Baby Flynn will carry forward, as that little message was sent to announce his arrival 😉
